The Turbo 8 is hands down THE BEST massager out there for the money. An incredibly designed and versatile tool, it offers two bullets with removable textured sleeves and independent speed controls. It runs on 4 AA batteries. By the way, DO NOT USE RECHARGEABLES. It burned my last one out. That said, with standard AA's, the overall battery life is actually pretty good.

I strongly prefer the dual bullet design. By having two bullets, you are free to explore a bit, massaging anywhere you chose, trying different areas simultaneously. I never stop discovering different combinations.

The removable textured rubber sleeves are made of a super soft rubber, but the texture I find a little rough in some areas. But the designers may have thought of this. On high speed, if I find the power and sleeves combination to be too intense, I have the option to simply remove the sleeves.

Alright, this thing - it's awesome. I've got some issues with desentization in various regions that the normal three speeds can't do anything about. So having the option to go over three speeds has helped vastly. It's rare that I go over the fifth level of speed - except as the batteries drain. When the batteries are at about half-charge, yeah I'll maybe go all the way up to the level 8 on the speed, but not for long. It's pretty darn powerful, yet it also has the capability to stay at a lower speed like the typical 3-speeders too.
The reason I gave it a four rather than a five star is because of two small things:
1 - like any toy it doesn't last very long (I had one that lasted a year before finally dying, and I've had one that died after something like three uses - usually I have to replace it by the third month, or keep a back up just in case - trust me you don't want it dying right in the middle of things, and there's no spare around to help you out)

OMG! When i read the other reviews, I thought there was no way this would be too powerful for me. I have only gotten up to the 4th setting and it is definitely turbo! It has a large remote control and requires 4AA batteries so it really packs some power. The outer cover is made of gel and is removable. If you are looking for a powerful vibe, this is the one for you! A+
